Disputes
What if a client disputes my work?
Vantagr mediates all disputes. You'll be given the chance to provide evidence of completed work. If deliverables meet the mission spec, you'll be paid.
Tax
You are an independent contractor, not an employee of Vantagr.
Vantagr issues required tax documentation (T4A in Canada, Form 1099-K in the US) where legally required.
Keep records of your mission earnings for tax purposes. Consult a tax professional for advice on deductible expenses (equipment, insurance, travel).

How do I set up payouts?

Can I withdraw before the client approves?
No — funds are held in escrow to protect both parties. Client has 7 days; no response = auto-approved.
What currency are payouts in?
Payouts are in the currency of the mission, which defaults to CAD for Canadian missions and USD for US missions.
